On the 20th of April, the Supreme People’s Court issued the 2022 edition of 50 Exemplary Intellectual Property Cases – two of the fifty cases were represented by Sunshine IP International. The lawsuit regarding patent infringement (Civil Judgement No. 1696 [2020]) between Hebei Yideli Rubber Supply LLC and Xu Bin was selected as one of the two civil patent lawsuits, and the lawsuit regarding patent administrative adjudication between Nanjing Hencer pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. and Bayer Intellectual Property GmbH was selected as one of the four administrative patent lawsuits.

The two aforementioned cases were also included in the “2022 Edition of the Intellectual Property Tribunal Annual Exemplary Cases”. Additionally, the latter of the two was also selected into the “2022 Edition of Supreme People's Court Intellectual Property Court Judgment Essentials”.

Previously, Sunshine IP International co-represented Wuxi Lertech technology Co., Ltd. in a lawsuit regarding patent ownership dispute and won the case; said lawsuit was selected into the 2020 edition of “Supreme People's Court Intellectual Property Court Judgment Essentials”. Moreover, the lawsuit regarding patent infringement between Lummus Technology LLC and Shanxi Haoxuan New Energy Resources Technology Development Co., Ltd. was selected into the 2016 edition of “50 Exemplary Intellectual Property Cases”.
