Trademark registration facilitation reform takes another action! Recently, Trademark Office of National Intellectual Property Administration, PRC will adjust trademark registration fees standards, and reduce several trademark registration fees from July 1^st, 2019 according to the notice of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance on Lowering the Rates of Some Administrative Fees.

Trademark Office will reduce renewal of registration from 1,000 RMB to 500 RMB, and reduce change of registration from 250 RMB to 150 RMB. At the same time, in order to further promote the online application for trademark registration, the Trademark Office also adjusted the fees for submitting online applications and accepting electronic official documents. Among them, fees for change of title related business for application submitted online and accepted electronic official document will be free. And with the same circumstances, the Office will also charge 90% of the current fee standard for trademark registration fee, reissuing trademark registration certificate fee, transfer of the registered trademark fee, renewal trademark registration fee, late renewal registration fee, trademark review fee, issuance of trademark certification fee, collective trademark registration fee, certification trademark registration fee, trademark opposition fee, revocation of trademark fee, and record of trademark licensing contracts.
