The case involves a series of patent dispute cases between LIYUAN Rectifier Equipment Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Injet Electric Co., Ltd.. Sichuan Injet sold "power assembly structure" and "water-cooled high-frequency transformers" and other infringing products through China without the permission by the patentee LIYUAN Rectifier, and form a fierce competitive relationship against LIYUAN Rectifier.

Sunshine IP assisted LIYUAN Rectifier in planning patent infringement dispute administrative mediation procedures and discovery planning, and started two petitions on two patents in Qinghai and Henan by the end of September of 2016. In early February of 2017, the intellectual property offices of Henan and Qinghai made decisions on the administrative sanction of establishing Sichuan Injet infringing on the accused patent dispute cases. This case only lasts 7 months from the planning of IP protection to the decision made by the IP offices, and the infringement identified by Qinghai and Henan in a timely manner and played a wide range of support with each other.

In addition, during the hearing of the case, Sichuan Injet filed invalidation petitions on the two disputed patents respectively. In the invalidation hearing, Sichuan Injet withdrew one of the invalidation petitions and the right of the other patent was eventually maintained.
